Where there is a Will, there is a Way
Include the National Lawyers Guild-Mass Chapter, Inc. in your will.
You can include the following words in your will:
I hereby give and bequeath to the National Lawyers Guild-Mass Chapter, Inc. (Federal Tax ID 04-3453456), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with its principal offices currently at _____________ , the following ______ % of my estate.
OR:
…the sum of $______ to support the National Lawyers Guild-Massachusetts Chapter, Inc.
Any type of cash, securities, personal property, or real estate can be given through a bequest. The NLG-Mass Chapter can also be named as a beneficiary of assets that often pass outside a will, such as IRAs, pension plans, life insurance, or assets held in a trust or annuity.
Make a Restricted Gift
You may also choose to make a restricted gift by targeting your donation to one or more of our areas of work. In the event the purposes of the restriction, in the opinion of the NLG-Mass Chapter Board of Directors, can no longer be served, then the Board of Directors of the NLG-Massachusetts Chapter may, in their discretion, use any remaining assets to benefit the Massachusetts Chapter as a whole, keeping in mind the original wishes of the donor.
