Lawyer Referral Service

Through our Lawyer Referral Service (LRS), lower-cost NLG attorneys based in Greater Boston provide legal counseling and representation for low- to moderate-income individuals. Our LRS attorneys cover most areas of law including criminal, discrimination, employment, disability, family and domestic, landlord/tenant, civil rights, police misconduct, medical and legal malpractice, and probate.

While our LRS intake line coordinator only speaks English, Spanish-speaking attorneys are available. If you need to speak to an attorney, please call ((617)227-7008 or email nlgmass-lrs@igc.org. Our intake line is open Monday-Wednesday, 9am-1pm and Thursday-Friday 2pm-5pm. No walk-in service.

Law School Chapters

We welcome the participation of students from local law schools to take on a variety of issues and actions. Law students also help NLG-Mass Chapter attorneys conduct Street Law Clinics, educating people about their legal rights and methods of resistance.
