NLG-Mass members and allies are invited to attend a series of panel discussions on the proposed building of a new prison for women and on mass incarceration and how to end it.
On Wednesday, November 5, from 11:45am – 1pm, the Northeastern School of Law Chapter of the NLG will host a panel on the new prison for women and the “FreeHer” coalition opposing it. This event will take place in-person at Northeastern University in Room 46 of Dockser Hall (DK) as well as virtually through Zoom. Food will be provided.
Then, on Friday, November 7, at 2pm, the New England Law Chapter of the NLG and the Women’s Law Caucus will host Families for Justice as Healing as well as law professors, Eliot Tracz and David Siegel, to discuss “End Mass Incarceration.” This event will take place in-person at New England Law Mock Court. Food and drinks provided.
