Starbucks workers’ union’s ballot count will be tomorrow from 1pm-3pm at the Brookline Booksmith (a unionized local bookstore!). They would love to have the support of members of the Guild at the event! Below are some additional details:

Representative Tommy Vitolo of Brookline will kick off our event at 1pm, but folks can start trickling in as early as 12:45pm. Following Representative Vitolo’s remarks, attendees will tune in for the NLRB’s live ballot count and learn the results of the union votes for the first two Starbucks stores to petition for a union in MA! Once the results are announced, baristas from both stores will hold a joint press conference. Pizza and refreshments will be available throughout, thanks to the generosity of Representative Vitolo.
