NLG-Mass’ Abortion Justice Task Force (AJTF) was established in response to the Dobbs decision. The AJTF is currently researching the most pressing legal questions for those seeking an abortion, helping with accessing an abortion, and performing abortions in Massachusetts. Additionally, AJTF is researching the added legal concerns for more vulnerable populations, such as college students and noncitizens. We hope to have the initial research complete soon, so we can begin incorporating the research into the training materials. We need more people interested in doing this work, so we can complete the research and training materials and begin facilitating the trainings. We have several ways people can help – current and continued research to keep the training up to date, development of the training materials, recruitment of groups and communities for the trainings, and facilitating the trainings.
