On the evening of Saturday, October 13th, NLG-Mass collaborated with Laughing Liberally Boston to present a political comedy show featuring some of Boston’s top liberal and progressive comedians at Arts at the Armory Café in Somerville. This show on October 13th was particularly special, as it featured an interview segment with NLG-Mass’s very own Susan Church!

Attorney Church, a law partner at Demissie & Church in Cambridge, was one of the attorneys who first filed a legal challenge against Trump’s Muslim ban. She continues to fight the Trump administration’s unjust and inhumane immigration policies, including the family separation policy.

In her interview segment at Laughing Liberally, Church talked about the close-cutting deadline for the first lawsuit against the Muslim ban,as well as the fight to keep immigrant families together. “She is fighting the good fight…[we’re] so honored to have had [Susan] as a guest speaker,” said the folks at Laughing Liberally.
